DSS2 – Lifts for Stackers and Pallet Trucks up to 2 500 kg
Our revolutionary lift that both makes the job easier and increases safety
Dendro Lift / DSS2
DSS2 – Service Lift for Stackers and Support-Leg Trucks
Electromechanical service lift for trucks with a total weight of up to 2,500 kg.
The DSS2 is designed for servicing stackers and support-leg trucks. The truck is lifted by its support legs and forks to any required working height up to 1,800 mm. The design provides access from all four sides for work on components including the motor, battery, brakes, wheels and chassis.

Time Study
DSS2 saves an average of 40% of service time
A leading truck manufacturer conducted this time study entirely independently of Dendro Lift. The average time for the service tasks compared was 14 min 17 sec using a truck lift and jack stands, and 8 min 38 sec using the DSS2. This equals a time saving of 39.59%, rounded to 40%. Actual savings may vary depending on the task and workshop.
Without DSS214 min 17 sec
With DSS28 min 38 sec
Average time saving39.59% ≈ 40%
The study was conducted by a leading truck manufacturer, entirely independently of Dendro Lift. The time saving is calculated by comparing the measured service time without the DSS2 with the service time using the DSS2. Results may vary depending on the task and conditions.
Operating Principle and Lifting Procedure
The truck’s support legs and forks are positioned in the designated lifting points. The vehicle is secured before lifting begins. Lifting and lowering are continuously adjustable and must be monitored throughout the movement.
01
Positioning: the support legs and forks are positioned correctly in their respective lifting points.
02
Securing: the vehicle is mechanically secured in accordance with the instructions for the relevant truck model.
03
Lifting: the working height is continuously adjustable up to 1,800 mm.
04
Maintenance: the truck is accessible from all four sides for work on the motor, battery, brakes and wheels.
Electromechanical Drive System
The lifting movement is generated by a geared motor with brake and transmitted through a self-locking trapezoidal lifting screw. The load-bearing nut carries the load during normal operation. A separate safety nut provides a mechanical backup function.
The self-locking screw principle helps prevent uncontrolled lowering. The brake motor holds the load at the selected height and provides controlled stopping. Automatic lubrication supplies lubricant to the lifting screw and nut system during operation.
Integrated Safety Functions
Self-locking trapezoidal lifting screw – helps prevent back-driving of the lifting system.
Load-bearing nut and safety nut – separate load-bearing and mechanical backup functions.
Geared motor with brake – holds the load in position when the drive stops.
Nut wear monitoring – stops the lift when the permitted wear limit is exceeded.
Obstacle detection during lowering – interrupts the lowering movement if an obstruction is detected.
Upper and lower limit switches – limit movement at the highest and lowest positions.
The DSS2 is installed on a flat, load-bearing floor. Its freestanding construction requires no floor anchoring. A 3 × 400 V, 16 A power supply is required for operation.
The lift can be relocated using a counterbalance forklift. For regular relocation, the optional Mover 2.0 is available.
Before use, the truck’s total weight, dimensions, lifting points and load distribution must be checked against the permitted operating range of the lift.
Intended Use
The DSS2 is intended for regular maintenance of stackers and support-leg trucks in forklift workshops, warehouses, logistics centres, terminals and industrial facilities. Access from all four sides and the continuously adjustable working height simplify maintenance without altering the lift’s technical safety principle.
Selecting the Correct Lift Model
For heavier stackers and internal transport vehicles weighing up to 3,600 kg, the DSS3 is available. Model selection must be based on the vehicle’s total weight, dimensions and available lifting points.
The DSS2 is part of my everyday work like a wrench. I can´t imagine a life without it.
With the DSS2 we can work much more ergonomically. Goodbye back pain. Finally!
It's like day and night. I never want to work without a lift like this ever again. Safe and the perfect working height. It saves my body and the customer's money.
The lift is absolutely TOP!
Where was the DSS2 when I started working 23 years ago? This makes maintenance so easy and a thousand times safer. It is about time!
