We manufacture custom-designed jack stands for loads ranging from a few tonnes up to 100 tonnes. Each jack stand is dimensioned according to the object’s design, load distribution, working height and operating environment. The solution can be configured for workshops, industrial processes, tractor servicing, railway-related assemblies and other demanding applications.
Designed for the Actual Load and Application
A custom-designed jack stand is required when lifting points have an unusual position, when the load is unevenly distributed or when standard top plates do not provide sufficient contact with the object. Dendro Lift’s engineers consider the complete lifting scenario and dimension the jack stand according to the requirements of the specific application.
The design can be adapted to:

Ergonomic Functions for Heavy Handling
Jack stands for heavy industry can be equipped with a gas-spring-assisted centre column. Centre columns can weigh between 10 and 100 kg, making manual height adjustment physically demanding and creating a risk of pinch injuries. Dendro Lift’s gas-spring solution counterbalances the column, allowing the height to be adjusted with significantly less manual force.
Jack stands with a high own weight can be equipped with spring-loaded retractable wheels. When the jack stand is loaded, the wheels retract and the structure rests securely on the floor. The wheels are swivelling and can be fitted with brakes, making it easier to move and position the jack stand in the workshop. They are intended for indoor use.
Different Jack Stand Configurations
Dendro Lift offers several basic configurations that can be adapted to the object and working environment:
- Fixed-height jack stands for loads up to 100,000 kg
- Three-legged jack stands for loads of 5,000–80,000 kg
- Four-legged jack stands that require approximately 20% less space than equivalent three-legged models
- Double jack stands for wider and heavier objects
- Jack stands with trapezoidal-threaded screws for continuous height adjustment
- Mobile jack stands with spring-loaded retractable wheels
- Special configurations for tractor servicing, tank containers and heavy components
Double jack stands can be adapted in both height and length and supplied with or without wheels. For specific objects, the design can be made portable, lightweight or equipped with fall protection.
Custom-Designed Top Plates
The top plate is dimensioned according to the object’s shape, lifting points and load distribution. Dendro Lift manufactures, among other options:
- Flat rectangular top plates
- V-shaped top plates
- Round top plates
- Interchangeable top plates for loads of approximately 8–20 tonnes
- Permanently mounted and reinforced top plates for higher loads
- Top plates adapted to ISO 1161 for containers
The top plates can be fitted with orientation symbols and designed for quick installation or tool-assisted replacement.
Safety According to Swedish Requirements and Standards
Dendro Lift’s jack stands are manufactured in accordance with applicable Swedish regulations and safety requirements. The designs can be CE marked and comply with the requirements of Nordtest NT MECH 002, a test method also used as the basis for the Swedish Consumer Agency’s market surveillance of jack stands.
The requirements include:
- Maximum height of no more than 4.5 times the minimum tipping radius
- Maximum floor load of 2 MPa at rated load
- Resistance to 1.6 times the rated load without permanent deformation
- Resistance to three times the rated load at a 10-degree inclination without failure
- Clear and permanent marking of the maximum permitted load
- A safety factor of three for the construction
The jack stands also meet relevant requirements in the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s regulations for work in the motor vehicle industry. The maximum load can be laser-cut directly into the steel structure, ensuring that the marking remains visible throughout the product’s service life.
