Jack stands with gas spring delivered for CV90 service
Dendro Lift has recently delivered jack stands with gas spring and a 20-ton capacity to a customer within the defense industry. These jack stands are used for servicing and maintenance of the CV90, where stability, safety and ease of handling are essential when working underneath the vehicle.
The jack stands are custom designed for the application and developed to make the handling of heavy center columns both safer and more ergonomic.
Jack stands with gas spring for easy height adjustment
One of the key features of these jack stands with gas spring is the gas-assisted center column. In heavy-duty jack stands, the center column can weigh 10–100 kg. Manually lifting and adjusting such a column is both physically demanding and increases the risk of pinch injuries.
The gas spring counterbalances the weight of the column and allows the height adjustment to be performed with very little force. For the operator, the column feels almost weightless during adjustment, while the movement remains controlled and stable.
This allows the jack stand to be positioned and adjusted quickly during setup.
